Social Media Specialist

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Social Media Specialist to support and strengthen their digital presence. Role Overview

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for executing day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, posting, calendar management, and audience engagement. This role is focused on execution, ensuring content is created, optimized for each platform, posted consistently, and supported with timely responses to comments and direct messages.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Design

• Create engaging social media content using Canva

• Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and messaging

Content Optimization & Posting

• Optimize content for different social media platforms

• Post content consistently across platforms

• Ensure posts are scheduled and published according to the content calendar

Posting Calendar Management

• Manage and maintain the social media posting calendar

• Coordinate content timelines to ensure consistent brand presence

• Track scheduled posts and adjust timing when necessary

Community Engagement

• Monitor social media accounts daily

• Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner

• Engage with followers to build community and strengthen brand relationships

Qualifications

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social media management or a related role

• Experience creating content using Canva

• Familiarity with scheduling tools (preferred)

Skills

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and formatting best practices

• Ability to optimize posts for engagement and platform performance

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent written communication skills

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Proactive and responsive in managing online engagement
