Role Overview
The Junior Social Media Specialist will execute social media strategies, create engaging content, foster online community engagement, and support brand growth across multiple platforms. This role combines creativity, strategy, performance tracking, and collaboration with influencers and internal teams to strengthen brand visibility and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Write compelling, on-brand social media copy that connects with target audiences.
Create engaging visuals using tools such as Canva, with the option to incorporate GPT for content creation within established guardrails.
Support the development and execution of the content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posting.
Collaborate on influencer and brand content initiatives to promote organic growth.
Actively engage with online communities across platforms, including responding to comments, direct messages, and ongoing conversations.
Maintain a positive and engaging brand presence by responding to inquiries and fostering meaningful interactions.
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and integrate relevant insights into content creation.
Partner with influencers to create authentic, brand-aligned content that strengthens brand messaging.
Leverage AI tools to assist with content creation while maintaining a human and personalized touch.
Build and maintain relationships with influencers to enhance brand visibility.
Track social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement.
Use AI and humanizing tools to tailor content according to platform-specific standards.
Evaluate content effectiveness consistently to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
Support social prospecting efforts by conducting outreach messaging under the guidance of the sales team, contributing to marketing and lead generation initiatives.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in social media management or related roles, with a focus on content creation and community engagement.
Experience with influencer marketing and brand content is a plus.
Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.
Experience with GPT-assisted content creation.
Ability to develop and execute content strategies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and familiarity with American culture.
Creative, strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset.
Self-starter who is adaptable, dependable, eager to learn, and maintains a strong work ethic.
