Mission
Neko Health exists to shift healthcare from treating illness to preventing it, using advanced, non‑invasive technology and clinical expertise to deliver early, actionable health insights.
Neko Health is a Swedish healthcare technology company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Neko's vision is to shift healthcare from reactive treatment toward preventative health and early detection. This requires completely reimagining the patient's experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI. Neko Health has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is convenient and affordable for the public. The company is based in Stockholm, offering the Neko Body Scan experience at locations in Stockholm, London and Manchester, with over 500 employees.
About the Creative Team
At Neko, design is central to how our products are developed, experienced, and trusted. Rather than distributing creative responsibilities across multiple teams, we have brought all creative disciplines together within a single Creative Department.
Our ambition is to deliver a coherent, intentional, and seamless design journey across digital and physical environments — spanning product, space, and brand. Every touchpoint is designed to feel connected, considered, and purposeful, regardless of medium or channel.
The Creative Department is structured around three closely collaborating studios: Architecture, Design, and Brand.
About the role
As a Product Designer at Neko Health, you will contribute to the design and development of our digital products, including mobile apps, websites, and large-scale screen experiences within our clinics.
This is a mid-level role, ideal for a designer who has solid experience delivering digital products and is looking to grow further in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You will work closely with senior designers, product managers, and engineers, learning from experienced colleagues while gradually taking on more ownership and responsibility.
You will support the translation of complex and abstract health data into clear, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences. Alongside core UX and visual design work, there is an opportunity to develop skills in explanation, storytelling, and visualisation — particularly in the context of healthcare and preventative medicine.
This role offers strong development opportunities, exposure to complex problem spaces, and mentorship from senior designers across digital and physical experience design.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design of digital products across apps, web, and in-clinic interfaces
Support the translation of complex health and medical concepts into intuitive user experiences
Work closely with senior designers to explore concepts, flows, and visual solutions
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Medical Ops, and Marketing teams
Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
Participate in research, ideation, and design critiques
Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Support service design across digital and physical touchpoints
Help uphold and evolve Neko’s design systems and standards
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI, Interaction Design, or related fields
Experience contributing to the design and delivery of digital products
Strong visual and interaction design skills
Interest in visualising abstract or complex systems
Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional teams
Curious mindset with a desire to learn and grow
Ability to communicate design thinking clearly and thoughtfully
We offer a dynamic work environment with a high degree of autonomy that fosters growth and development. If you are passionate about building a better healthcare system for everyone and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
Please note: we perform background and reference checks as part of our interview process.
About titles at Neko
We use a simplified internal title framework that prioritises clarity over hierarchy, so internal titles may differ from market‑facing role titles. Scope, impact and level of the role are fully aligned and will be clearly discussed throughout the process.

Candidates progress from application and structured screening through thoughtfully designed interviews culminating in a formal offer and final pre-employment checks before joining the team.
