SOSi is seeking a PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Analyst Lead responsible for the leadership of design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of PeopleSoft HCM Payroll. This role is central to ensuring accurate, complaint, and efficient, payroll processing for our customer. As part of this initiative, you will lead the collaboratation with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to design and implement Payroll solutions, including Payroll WorkCenter deployment, integrations, and reporting. Essential Job Duties:
- Lead and motivate teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with management to understand their needs, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on progress.
- Configure and maintain PeopleSoft NA Payroll modules, including pay rules, deductions, base benefits, and tax compliance.
- Ensure the system adheres to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as organizational policies
- Leverage PeopleSoft WorkCenters to streamline payroll processes and improve user productivity.
- Support quarterly and year-end activities, including tax updates, W-2 processing, and compliance reporting.
- Analyze payroll business processes and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues, including calculation errors, data discrepancies, and integration challenges.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement patches, updates, and customizations.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on PeopleSoft Payroll and related modules, including U.S. Federal (USF) Payroll functionality if applicable.
- Deliver training and support end users to enhance system adoption and proficiency.
- Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades, patches, and new configurations.
- Validate payroll results to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational policies.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and generate payroll reports and dashboards to support decision-making and compliance monitoring.
- Monitor payroll system compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and organizational policies.
