We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director, Europe Brand Marketing to steward the brand marketing messaging, look, and feel for our UK & European markets. The UK & Europe are critical pieces of our international expansion strategy, and this role will help lead our approach and refine our customer proposition in the market. This individual will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding PR, OOH, social media, influencer, online ecosystems, etc. across the UK/Europe, and how these channels work together to deliver best in class 360 campaigns & activations to drive overall brand awareness and deliver on commercial goals.
This role will report directly into the Europe GM but will have a very close working relationship with our HQ-based global marketing team; ensuring alignment & brand consistency of local activations & measurements, while also ensuring larger Global Activations are aware of local needs & business goals.
This is a mission critical key leadership role that will help Vuori define our unique brand positioning in the market. The ideal candidate will be creatively oriented with a strong sense of what’s on “trend”, how to operationalize messaging in the market to activate customers, and drive brand awareness; while possessing a healthy mix of strategic vision with “roll-up the sleeves” mentality. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer brands, as well as a firm grasp on how to grow our customer base, while deepening relationships with existing customers.
What you'll get to do:
Brand Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of brand marketing strategies tailored to the unique cultural and consumer dynamics across our UK and European markets.
- Collaborate with the global team to inform seasonal briefs that result in campaign content that resonates with the local customers from UK to Germany and beyond.
- Ensure brand campaigns are not only connected to global & local product & business objectives, but aid in accelerating them.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives reflect and enhance the brand’s core values and story, strengthening our market position.
Marketing Execution
- Be the primary filter for all written and visual communications in the market, ensuring the content is in line with our overall brand ethos and strategy.
- Oversee & drive the execution of brand marketing campaigns across channels (i.e., digital & retail), as well as platformism (i.e., social, influencer, etc), as well as offline (OOH & activations) to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Leverage customer insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous optimization of brand marketing tactics locally.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and cultural shifts in our UK & European markets to, not only, keep the Vuori ahead of the curve, as well as ensuring Vuori becomes part of customers everyday life.
- Partner with local retail teams to optimize the retail marketing strategy and ensure consistent in-store and DTC experiences that resonate with our growing local community.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Work with the HQ & local teams to design and execute integrated 360 marketing campaigns across multiple platforms including social media, digital, influencer partnerships, PR, consumer activations and community events.
- Measure and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI, reach, brand awareness, and market penetration.
- Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all brand touch points and platforms.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Ability to influence large, cross-functional, global teams toward a common goal.
- Collaborate with HQ-based global teams, including Product marketing, media, PR, Social & influencer, Merchandising as well as local teams including Retail, eComm, Community, & local agencies to execute integrated marketing plans.
- Act as the bridge between the global and local teams, ensuring alignment of goals, timelines, KPIs and measurement.
Customer Experience & Community Building
- Create strategies that drive customer loyalty and advocacy, ensuring our brand resonates deeply with the target audience.
- Build and manage local brand ambassador and influencer programs to drive brand awareness and relevancy.
Market Intelligence & Trend Spotting
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to stay ahead of market shifts and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure the brand’s marketing efforts are innovative, culturally relevant, and resonate with both local and international audiences.
- Understand, be, and monitor the voice of the brand in the market.
