Reports directly to the Operations Manager Trade Natura Resources (NR), Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
Be responsible for managing day to day lifting operations.
Plan, organize, supervise, and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.
Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client's requirements.
Test materials and components used in buildings, structures and machinery. Review project safety (eg. lifting plans, etc.),
Ensuring all relevant lifting equipment performance, certification and condition data are recorded accurately for input into the Company鈥檚 data recording system, defining standards for and participate in the monitoring and assessment of lifting operations, contributing to conjunction with HSE Dept. to the Site鈥檚 safety effectiveness through recommending improvements in procedures and work practices.
Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team.
Adhere to the Company鈥檚 Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures, and standards.
Providing technical advice on matters pertaining to lifting operations deviations or non-compliances.
Providing support to Maintenance Teams as necessary in the detail and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities on all lifting equipment
