As Industrial Safety – Equipment Certification Specialist Europe, you act as the single point of contact for International activities within SGS. Main activities include the support of the global team identifiyng the relevant capabilities in the SGS network, provide support to develop new capabilities and relevant coaching / training to extended SGS teams.
You will be part of SGS’s Industrial Safety Team providing solutions to clients to fulfill statutory requirements for machines, equipment and projects in the manufacturing and process industries, in the OPEX and CAPEX phases.
SGS Industrial Safety covers the following general fields: Mechanical safety (machinery, lifts, pressure vessels, etc.), Functional safety, Process Safety, Structural Safety (construction products), Fire & Explosion safety (ATEX), Electrical Safety and Cyber Safety.
Main Purpose of Role
- Support the deployment of the strategy to the affiliates.
- Working within the Global Team supporting the collaboration between affiliates.
- Act as the technical interface between a multinational client and SGS network.
Key Accountabilities
- Support to prepare new templates for new / varied service scopes being developed / implemented.
- Support with development and implementation of new training schemes and upskilling of workforce to changing demands in skills and certifications.
- Responsible for maintaining the global capabilities matrices for the global operations.
- Maintain the SharePoints of Industrial Safety Equipment Certification to allow access to the information.
- Support the management and the organization of global meetings for trainings and alignment.
- Auditing affiliates ensuring they are aligned with the group strategy, policies and practices.
- Support to further deploy the digitalization project of services.
- Support in preparation of marketing materials for new and existing services.
- Be a key contributor in the continuous improvement process of the organization
