Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Sell SGS services to generate new customers and new profitable revenues in line with annual target set by the country.
- Responsible for marketing and sales in co-ordination with regional business/Operations managers across all sectors.
- Increase company鈥檚 growth and revenue through sales maximization.
- Contact and develop new customers who have never previously traded with SGS.
- Identify new opportunities within existing customers and re-engage lapsed customers.
- Present SGS products and services to potential new, existing, and lapsed customers.
- Create compelling business cases to encourage customers to place work with SGS.
- Generate new business revenues for SGS to meet budgetary and strategic goals.
- Stay ahead of market trends, utilizing professional membership and trade associations.
- Identify and react to new and developing market, competitor, and regulatory developments to ensure SGS takes advantage of all market opportunities.

- Work collaboratively with colleagues promoting SGS services, across businesses and service.
- To work with SGS CRM systems, updating contacts, activities, opportunities, and successes within required timescales.
- Adhere to SGS sales KPI鈥檚 in relation to customer engagement activities.
- To meet the individual annual personal objectives and provide evidence of satisfactory completion.
- To ensure full compliance with SGS Sales and Marketing Policy.
- To travel, as required, for meetings, presentations and present Service Proposals in the most advantageous way.
- Analyze customer issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge with appropriate tools or resources.
- Prepare and support regional sales forecasts and feasibility studies for new services.
- Create, Negotiate and Close Service Agreements and Contracts.
- Prepare and manage Quotes and Tender Proposals by supervising cost calculation and internal rate structures.
- Implement Pricing guidelines in accordance with group guidelines.
- Undertake business development initiatives to grow SGS portfolio.
- Conducting thorough market research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Creating and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's overall goals.
- Planning, executing, and overseeing marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.) delivered on time and within scope.
- Building and maintaining a strong SGS brand image by ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing efforts by analyzing metrics, preparing reports, and making data-driven decisions to optimize future campaigns and strategies.
- Attend exhibitions and other promotional activities.
- Accountable for preparation of sales and marketing material.
- Promote the image, capability and integrity of the company to the Clients.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing. products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques.
- Attend exhibitions and other promotional activities.
- Familiar with ISO's 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
- Practical computer knowledge from the user's point of view of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM System programs (is an advantage).
