Under the guidance of the Pricing Manager, the candidate will help establish the pricing policy for the market they oversee. Their primary responsibility will be to maximize the revenue per available seat miles (RASM).
- Ensure the attractiveness of Air Transat's fares by keeping a constant watch on competitive evolutions: Fare monitoring to be carried out by retrieving and manipulating a large amount of data as well as through market trends;
- Understand and analyze the dynamics of the market for which they are responsible;
- Maintain the consistency between pricing actions, the corresponding seat allocation and KPIs analysis. This action is carried out through close collaboration with the Revenue Management analysts in charge of seat allocation;
- Participate in the definition of fares levels as well as fare conditions according to the distribution channels. This action is achieved by analysing client segmentations as well as the company鈥檚 revenue targets, competitive environment, as well as the overall route performance;
- Oversees its own geographic portfolio while working as part of a team (working in pairs, daily exchange of best practices, etc.): the development, monitoring and efficient communication of the pricing strategy to management and teammates is necessary;
- Monitor and ensure a thorough and factual tracking of performance of the implemented strategies and the promotional offers;
- Learn and be proficiently in all pricing tools and systems;
- Recommend improvements to processes and performance reports
