SOSi is seeking a Senior Systems Administration Support Specialist (Windows OS) in Wiesbaden, Germany. The ideal candidate will possess senior-level expertise in the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft-based server environments. This role involves managing complex Windows OS architectures, overseeing Microsoft server products, and ensuring the stability of critical command and control or commercial communication systems in support of theater-level mission requirements.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide senior-level technical support for the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Server-based operating systems.
- Oversee the configuration and performance of Microsoft Server-based products, including MSSQL, Hyper-V, and Live Communications platforms.
- Manage resource allocation and system tuning for Windows-based architectures to ensure high availability and resilient performance.
- Lead the deployment and maintenance of Hyper-V virtualized environments, ensuring efficient workload management and storage integration.
- Ensure the availability and integrity of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) by enforcing strict STIG compliance and security patching for all Windows assets.
- Provide situational assessments and utilization metrics to address emerging Windows-based system requirements and theater-wide processing initiatives.
