Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform multi-point mechanical inspections on incoming pre-owned vehicles.
- Complete light mechanical repairs such as brakes, batteries, filters, bulbs, hoses, fluids, belts, and similar items.
- Identify safety or drivability concerns and escalate items that require higher-level diagnosis or repair.
- Document all work performed and parts used with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Meet reconditioning cycle time goals to ensure vehicles are ready for retail in a timely manner.
- Safely move vehicles throughout service, reconditioning, and retail-ready areas.
- Partner with service managers, advisors, and parts personnel to keep the recon process moving efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
