Perform in-process, pre/post flight, and final inspections of experimental aircraft to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, company restrictive special inspections (C-RSI), preventive maintenance schedule (PMS), and address safety of flight concerns
Witness and inspect the installation of all experimental ground test articles
Witness and/or inspect the assembly, installation, and functional tests per applicable engineering and functional test specifications of all components and systems
Perform initial shakedown of experimental aircraft upon arrival from final assembly to ensure proper and complete installation of production and experimental components and systems and assess the overall condition of the aircraft
Verify in-flight and ground discrepancies have been completed or properly resolved prior to flight release for Bombardier-Learjet experimental aircraft and ground test for Canadian flight test aircraft
Document discrepancies and coordinate resolution with assigned experimental technicians or engineering as appropriate
Ensure all paperwork is complete and complies with engineering specifications and aircraft configuration prior to flight
Prepare and maintain records and files, for example, maintenance records, inspection records, aircraft logs, functional test procedures, and flight test work orders on all ground test articles, experimental Bombardier-Learjet aircraft, and Canadian flight test aircraft
Write conformities verifying assemblies and installations are manufactured and installed per engineering specifications
Weigh experimental aircraft and initiate applicable weight and balance forms per engineering specifications and quality manuals
Monitor and ensure update certification status tools and equipment
