Are you an experienced Design Engineer ready to take the lead on high鈥慽mpact automotive projects? We鈥檙e looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our growing team, taking ownership of the design and development of Body Panel Inserts and leading a high鈥憄erforming design team from concept through to final customer sign鈥憃ff.
What You鈥檒l Be Doing
- Lead the design and engineering of Body Panel Inserts, ensuring robust, manufacturable, and cost鈥慹ffective solutions.
- Manage and mentor a small design team, providing technical leadership, design reviews, and development guidance.
- Act as the primary customer interface for all project communication, including progress updates, design evolution, issue resolution, and timing alignment.
- Drive design changes based on customer feedback, engineering analysis, and functional requirements.
- Own the final design sign鈥憃ff process, ensuring all specifications, standards, and customer expectations are fully met.
- Work cross鈥慺unctionally with manufacturing, tooling, quality, and project management teams to deliver programs on time.
- Support DFMEA, DVP, CAD modelling, drawings, and release activities in line with automotive standards.
