Main Purpose of the Role
The Presales Engineer supports Securitas’ digital transformation strategy by driving growth in technology and solutions (guarding + technology). The role provides technical and commercial expertise throughout the sales process and ensures the design of effective security solutions aligned with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quotations and respond to tenders for Electronic Security solutions (e.g., access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, video analytics, AI, PSIM).
Provide technical support to the sales team during client interactions and solution design.
Manage supplier product portfolios, including ERP data maintenance and sales support tools.
Track and manage offers, opportunities, and pipelines in CRM and ERP systems.
Monitor market developments to identify new product and supplier opportunities.
Act as liaison between internal stakeholders: operations, sales, sales support, finance, and service management.
Ensure lifecycle management of supplier products in line with Securitas PLCM methodology.
Maintain strong relationships with assigned suppliers and oversee their commercial follow-up.
Budget Responsibility
Responsible for a sales target of €3–4M (depending on seniority).
Autonomy to decide on quotations within the Securitas financial governance framework.
Requirements
Education
Professional Bachelor in Electronics or ICT, or equivalent experience.
For senior levels: Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
Experience
Proven track record in commercial technical roles.
2+ years for junior, 3–5 years for medior, and 5+ years for senior profiles.
