What you'll be doing:
- Provide security services across multiple sites within a defined geographical area, protecting people, property, and assets.
- Prevent unauthorised access, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and conduct thorough internal and external patrols.
- Manage keys, oversee locking/unlocking procedures, and perform routine tests on security equipment.
- Control site traffic, enforce parking rules, and maintain accurate logs, records, and visitor/contractor passes.
- Support staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Respond to emergencies, fire alarms, hazards, and incidents, reporting accurately both verbally and in writing.
- Operate radios, stop鈥慳nd鈥憇earch procedures, and other site鈥憇pecific security equipment to deter crime.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional appearance and handling enquiries confidently.
- Complete shift check鈥慽ns, paperwork, and handovers in line with company policy; adapt to varied site requirements.
