ProSidian Consulting seeks a Senior Curriculum Development Specialist to support and participate in a project supporting The Department of Labor, Office of theĀ Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Human Resource Center. The Senior Curriculum Development Specialist plays an integral role by effectivelyĀ participating in day to day operations and by offering quality service and excellence in the administration provided for the OASAM. The duties of this position includeĀ researching, developing, reviewing, finalizing and publishing new and/or existing training curriculum for new or existing programs. In this role, researchingĀ functional areas and related topic areas for recognized best practices and practices that have proven success in shaping curriculum and material development will alsoĀ be vital. This role supports the management, to include relationships and important deliverables and helps support others on the project through a positive attitudeĀ and effective communication with appropriate stakeholders.Ā
This project provides human resources and management contracting support services for the Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration andĀ Management, Human Resource Center. This project will include budget and finance, program development, analysis, evaluation, information technology, general projectĀ administration and curriculum development and training.
This Office (OASAM) is responsible for the development of policies, standards, procedures, systems and materials, related to the resource and administrative management of the Department. The Human Resources Center (HRC) is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and expertise in all areas related to management of the Department's human resources, including recruitment and development of staff, management of personnel systems, leadership in labor management partnership and improving and supporting work and family life.⢠Research, develop, review, finalize and publish new and/or existing training curriculum for new or existing programs.
⢠Research functional areas and related topic areas for recognized best practices and practices that have proven success in shaping curriculum and material development.
⢠Train staff in the use of new and/or changed programs.
⢠Provide post-classroom workbooks, training manuals, substantive concept review and exercises to assist with transition from the classroom experience to practical application.
⢠Develop computer-aided instructions, such as tutorials and software refresher courses.
⢠Provide written recommendations for changes to curriculum, presentations and related materials based on analysis and evaluation.
⢠Provide computer end-users with training in a variety of specified software.
⢠Coordinate Agency or Center level professional development programs.
⢠Catalogue and display learning materials in a clear and intuitive way.
⢠Perform other related job duties as requested.
