Acquisition Technical Writer (Contract Contingent)

ProSidian Seeks a Acquisition Technical Writer (Contract Contingent) located In San Antonio, TX (or surrounding area) to support an engagement for Acquisition Support and Financial Management for the HIT directorate, PRM division, Budget Execution branch of the DHA. This is Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 position with commensurate benefits and competitive salary. The ideal Acquisition Technical Writer (Contract Contingent) has skills in: 

• Conceptualizing and writing technical materials 
• Assisting in selecting appropriate acquisition strategy, 
• Knowledge of life-cycle costs and other acquisition documents, 
• Communication Skills (Oral and Written) 
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Research skills 

The ideal candidate will have at least (3) years of performing Federal Government financial management. Will service as an Acquisition Technical Writer on a rewarding contract with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Health Agency.
Your position will include acquisition support services including, but not limited to, assisting in development of acquisition material including approval documentation, briefings, and solicitation documents. Assist in preparing required documents such as Purchase Requests, briefs, and acquisition strategy documents, including an analysis of these requirements and coordination of required actions throughout the DHA. You shall identify current best practices in the development of Performance work statements, including identification of best practices in performance based acquisition.
