The ProSidian Engagement Team seeks Administrative Support Services Professionals for Office of Administrative Services in the National Capital Region. The long term project supports a government agency which is one of three central management agencies of the Federal Government. This agency provides work space, products and services, technology, telecommunications, and management policy for the Federal Government. The administrative services under this agency's regulatory purview include the management of real and personal property, travel and transportation, motor vehicles, and mail. The Client organization serves a population of over 11,000 employees, which includes two major services, along with several staff organizations that are focused on achieving a vision of "excellence in the business of government." The agency provides these services through the coordinated efforts of multiple regional offices throughout the United States and the headquarters office located in Washington, DC. The work performed for this contract will be in Washington D.C. in either the agency's Central Office or the National Capital Regional Office.
- It is imperative the experience and qualifications of this position relate to employee management, recruitment efforts, development of questions for interviews, experience with the interview process, the authority to make decisions, experience in resolving performance issues and communication and management skills.
- The ideal candidate will be able to clearly depict and relate past work examples in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, etc; the authority and responsibility to make decisions, how they’ve provided oversight of contractor employees and how they’ve ensured communications with overseeing managers/departments.
- The Contractor Project Manager (PM) will oversee and supervise contractor employees, participate and meet with the contractor stakeholders/COR, Service Office POC’s included, at least once a month.
- The PM shall have responsibility for the overall administration and coordination of the work activities on the contract.
- The PM shall be a key Contractor representative /key employee.
- The PM shall be the principal point of contact between the Contractor and the Government through the COR and CO.
- The PM shall assume the general responsibility on behalf of the Contractor to ensure timely availability of personnel and the quality of the services the Contractor provides.
- The role of the PM is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the contract.
- She/he meets strict deadlines within budgets. This includes the coordination of resources, the efforts of the team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to the contract.
- The PM shall also oversee performance quality control throughout the contract life cycle.
