ProSidian Seeks a Curriculum Developer (Contract Contingent) in Charlotte, NC / Remote to support an engagement for agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the financial sector.
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to develop and implement a strategy and initiatives to educate, empower, and equip consumers to make better informed financial decisions.
Curriculum Developer Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0001 Program Support and will facilitate, organize, and develop in-person and Webinar financial literacy training sessions to assist consumers in effectively making better informed financial decisions. The Curriculum Developer will design and modify tools and materials in order to provide participants with the best financial education system possible, as well as tailor training materials to specific groups of consumers in universities, colleges, libraries, and other public forums. Additionally, the Curriculum Developer will work with Financial Literacy Instructors and Quality Control Analysts to assess the success of training sessions and implementation by collecting data from participant surveys and focus groups and compile monthly status reports on the progress of the curriculum.
The Curriculum Developer is responsible for creating and producing effective training courses to assist participants in making effective financial decisions, as well as providing a detailed work plan for each session and task. The Curriculum Developer is responsible for facilitating in-person training sessions at local locations for the participants that include Section 504 and Section 508 accomodations, when necessary, and facilitating locations for Webinar training sessions that provide a sufficient amount of power outlets so participants can plug in their laptop computers, if needed. The Curriculum Developer is also responsible for reviewing furnished materials, tools and toolkits and making required revisions so that the information being given to the participants is as up-to-date and effective as possible. The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for designing and developing new materials, including PowerPoint presentations, that will ensure different types of participants (college students, veterans, elders, etc.) will make the best financial decisions for their goals and lifestyles. Additionally, the Curriculum Developer is responsible for conducting surveys and focus groups to evaluate the effectiveness of the training sessions and tools implemented during such sessions, as well as summarizing this information in monthly written reports and analyses.
