ProSidian Seeks a AMRP Groundwater Program Support Specialist (Part-Time) in located in The Hanford Tri-Cities Area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area.
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt’s operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support. It is also ProSidian's duty to protect all classified information, special nuclear material, and other DOE property and work in accordance with DOE security regulations and requirements to maintain responsibility for protecting all classified information and all classified matter (including documents, material and special nuclear material) which are in every Engagement Team Member's possession and in connection with the performance of work under this contract against sabotage, espionage, loss or theft.
AMRP Groundwater Program Support Candidates shall work to support requirements as a AMRP Groundwater Program Support Specialist and provide general support service to support the Groundwater program OBO The Dept. of Energy, Richland Operations Office, Office of the Assistant Manager for the River and Plateau (AMRP)
The AMRP Groundwater Program Support Specialist shall provide support in the following areas:
- Independent evaluation of Hanford cleanup and groundwater programs with a focus on remediation of groundwater activities and compliance/execution with Federal and Washington state regulation.
- Assist in document review and technical analysis of groundwater and source area contamination with regard to the CERCLA, RCRA and AEA process.
- Ensure project safety and regulatory documentation is complete, accurate, and reliable for submission to regulators or other DOE offices.
- Hanford Groundwater Program operations (including Pump and Treatment Facilities, in-situ barriers, groundwater monitoring and sampling, well construction, well rehabilitation, and well maintenance), and Regulatory documentation and technical analyses as it affects groundwater program activities.
- On-site assessments related to groundwater programs.
- Provide expert opinion and feedback on program/project activities.
- Provide detailed technical oversight, support to prevent programmatic failure (for example, failure to comply with regulations or enforceable documents), and assess effectiveness and performance of groundwater activities.
- Assist in preparation and review of draft reports, including technical analyses, assessment of regulatory documents, waste acceptance criteria, technical reports, or other documents.
- Interfacing with a diverse range of people from the Richland Operations Office (RL), Office of River Protection (ORP), SNRL field Office, PNNL, other DOE Contractors, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, State Regulators, tribes, and other stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of plans to mitigate programmatic risks and exploit opportunities for improving program activities.
- Provides related technical and strategical expertise in compliant groundwater program management operations and groundwater program management practices.
- Provides executive level management support for Hanford groundwater program management and facility operations.
- Assist with proactively identifying potential risks/opportunities through review of the programs and evaluation of program elements related to groundwater program facility operations.
- Travel may be required to support optimization and remediation objectives.
