Senior Energy Consultant (Flexible Work Location)

ProSidian Seeks a Senior Energy Consultant in CONUS/OCONUS - Washington, DC to support an engagement for an independent agency of the United States Federal Govt. that is concerned with the United States' policies regarding energy and safety in handling nuclear material. The agency has a mission to lead national efforts to modernize the electric grid; enhance security and reliability of the energy infrastructure; and facilitate recovery from disruptions to energy supply. 

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide financial, technical, analytical, modeling, project management, and communications support to meet on-going requirements within the agency.

Senior Energy Consultant Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and primary role is to provide management and oversight support for Advanced Grid Research and Development and be requested to provide technical and/or analytical assessments of grid reliability and resilience utilizing the deployment and integration of advanced technologies.

• Have experience coordinating projects with analytical and technical personnel that specialize in energy delivery, analytics, electrical systems and infrastructure is preferred.

• Collaborate with federal staff to plan, design, schedule, and facilitate implementation of program and project management plans.

• Have the ability to coordinate the development of draft policy statements covering such areas as: Executive Orders, Presidential Directives, Federal Regulations, draft management and implementation plans, milestone development plans and recommendations and critiques on methodologies and relevant technologies in support of mission objectives.

• Work with stakeholders identifying conceptual requirements through completion, including system maintenance and operations.

• Use project management tools, techniques, processes, and systems as required.

• Assess technical, user, and stakeholder requirements, establish schedules, cost estimates and project budget, organize interdisciplinary resources, identify risks, collaborate with management, customers, and users, and facilitate and/or manage project team tasks.
