ProSidian Seeks a IT Project and Account Manager in CONUS/OCONUS - Olympia, WA to support an engagement for an Agency dedicated to the safety, health and security of 2.5 million workers and helping employers meet safety and health standards and the Agency also inspects workplaces when alerted to hazards. The Agency's rules and enforcement programs help ensure workers are paid what they are owed, that children's and teens' work hours limited, and consumers are protected from unsound building practices.Ā
The ProSidian Team works to provide expert level Information Technology (IT) Quality Assurance (QA) consulting services supporting a full cross-agency ābusiness transformationā initiatives intended to achieve the mission of keeping citizens in the state safe and working. The business transformation (BT) calls for modernizing the agency's extensive technology infrastructure and corresponding business processes over several years. The client is starting with people and processes ā ensuring the best way to do business and collectively understand business priorities and customersā expectations. Then, they will invest in new technology to support those process improvements and achieve stated goals and objectives.
Navigating the agency's technology maze is challenging for its employees. It complicates the training process and makes it difficult for them to deliver high-quality, effective service to their customers. Many applications are independent and donāt communicate information between each other. Over the next several years, L&I will modernize technology across the Dept., which will take place in phases.
IT Project and Account Manager Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and lead/oversee independent quality assurance (QA), Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), oversight and assessment activities in alignment with the Client Organizations requirements, policies, guidelines including but not limited to the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Policy 132.Ā The focus will be made on enterprise professional services covering Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), Modified Commercial off The Shelf (MOTS), custom build applications/systems, .etc.
As part of on-going System Modernization and other agency Business Transformation (BT) Projects.Ā These enterprise professional services will be required for current application/technology/Process/People Solutions as well as future BT Related Procurements (including projected procurement timeframes) which may include: Enabling Technologies, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, Conveyance Management Systems, Workersā Compensations System Modernization (WCSM) project and other agency projects.
As such, it is expected that the IT Project and Account Manager be knowledgeable and practiced in all aspects of Information Technology system life cycle project management processes as defined in the Project Management InstituteĀ® (PMIĀ®) Project Management Book of KnowledgeĀ® (PMBOKĀ®).Ā Duties would include reviewing, monitoring, and observing project management activities, processes, and deliverables.Ā The IT Project and Account Manager is expected to ensure that QA services are provided in alignment with a clientās overall project schedule.Ā Additionally, they would be responsible for supporting the written assessment reports developed by the team and overseeing the recommendations developed to ensure they provide early warning to our clients of potential risks; including, actionable input and recommendations that can be tracked to completion.
