ProSidian Seeks a Court Reporter Stenographer in CONUS - Boston, MA to support an engagement for a division of a U.S. Government Entity responsible for unified combatant initiatives that oversee the various special component commands of four (04) Military Branches of the United States Armed Forces.
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide verbatim Court Reporter Stenographer transcription services to transform spoken dialog into written documents with specific services and materials necessary to provide a concept study in support of USSOCOM’s Sovereign Challenge program 2020 annual conference for the period of 29 March – 3 April OR 07 – 12 June 2020 in Boston, MA.
Court Reporter Stenographer Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and provide verbatim transcription services to transform spoken dialog into written legal documents during a conference for a division of a U.S. Government Entity responsible for unified combatant initiatives that oversee the various special component commands of four (04) Military Branches of the United States Armed Forces. This a 1099 Contract Position in Boston, MA and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561492 - Stenography Service.
The Court Reporter Stenographer shall work in support of Conferences/Meetings established as strategic international engagement programs, focused on preserving the sovereignty of independent nations and examining how extremist threats can violate that sovereignty. Veterans of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force) ideal.
The Professional Court Reporter Stenographer’s work shall be to transcribe – word-for-word – any discussion that happens during the conference presentations; for questions, comments, answers posed; and during group discussions. The transcript of meeting presentations; questions, comments, answers posed; and group discussions become the document of record so it must be recorded accurately and completely. Once a transcript is finished, it is given a responsible party and may become part of the public record and/or used for programming purposes.
Additional functions for the Court Reporter Stenographers may also be to support requirements for Section 508 Compliance and support for closed-caption services for hearing-impaired individuals or perform other administrative tasks.
DATES AND TIMES: The Court Reporter Stenographer shall also be eligible for other employment/contract opportunities including other freelance work on a case-by-case basis, working for various clients across the U.S. Federal Government.
The meetings are planned for the Sovereign Challenge Conference during 29 March – 3 April OR 07 – 12 June 2020 each year and the transcription takes place in real-time, with the Court Reporter Stenographer or stenographer sitting in the room.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Court Reporter Stenographer shall provide specific services and materials necessary to provide a concept study in support of USSOCOM’s Sovereign Challenge program 2020 annual conference for the period of 29 March – 3 April OR 07 – 12 June 2020 in Boston, MA. The final dates are TBD but will be one of the above. The following services, labor, tools, equipment, and materials are required to support this event:
