ProSidian Seeks a Commissioning and Operational Readiness Specialist headquartered near Richland, WA 99319 to support an engagement for the DOE Office of River Protection (ORP) - an independent office at the DOE Site in eastern Washington state with the exclusive focus of remediating and solving the DOEās tank cleanup challenges. ORPās mission is to protect the Columbia River by safely cleaning up radioactive and chemical waste contained in underground storage tanks located at the DOE Site.Ā
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide Site Technical Support Services assistance including technical support services in environmental remediation, and related technical and administrative program management support expertise and assistance in carrying out responsibilities to plan, direct and oversee design, construction, environmental remediation, cleanup and operation of government facilities to support ORP at Hanford in the Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area
Commissioning and Operational Readiness SpecialistĀ Candidates shall work to support requirements for ORP Site Technical Support Services and provide Technical Support Services OBO The United States Department of Energy, Office of River Protection (ORP) at the Hanford Site for ORP-COD Commissioning and Operational Readiness across ORP's Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project (WTP) Commissioning, Maintenance and Operations Division (COD).Ā The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of River Protection requires commissioning and operational readiness support for the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project (DOE-WTP) Commissioning, Maintenance and Operations Division (COD). The ProSidian Commissioning and Operational Readiness SpecialistĀ [Labor Category: Consultant III] shall provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) to support the following scope:
Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy ā WTP Site located in the 200 East area of the Hanford Site located out of Richland, WA.
DELIVERABLES
Deliverables shall be accomplished in accordance with the directions provided by the COD Director. All deliverables will be processed through the COD Project Lead prior to internal and/or external publication and availability.
Oversight, coordination, and review of commissioning technical activities including: a) System, Structure and Component functional requirements; b) Safety, risk reduction, and reliability designs; c) Test instructions; d) Work execution in the field; e) Process and procedure compliance; and f) Fulfillment of technical test requirements.
Support the Commissioning Joint Test Group (CJTG) by: a) Performing technical reviews of startup/commissioning engineering activities for adequacy and reliability; b) Ensuring compliance with established criteria and sound engineering principles; and c) Identifying omissions, discrepancies, inadequacies, and nonconformance with approved criteria.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The ProSidian Commissioning and Operational Readiness Specialist shall maintain proficiencies in the following via periodic training:
a) HGET; b) WTP Site access; c) Computerized Maintenance Management System; d) Smart Plant Foundation and Smart Plant for Operations; e) WTP site qualifications including LO/TO if necessary; and f) Radworker training at a level to allow full facility access once the training is required.
