ProSidian Seeks an ORP Readiness Support Specialist headquartered near Richland, WA 99319 to support an engagement for the DOE Office of River Protection (ORP) - an independent office at the DOE Site in eastern Washington state with the exclusive focus of remediating and solving the DOE’s tank cleanup challenges. ORP’s mission is to protect the Columbia River by safely cleaning up radioactive and chemical waste contained in underground storage tanks located at the DOE Site.
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide Site Technical Support Services assistance including technical support services in environmental remediation, and related technical and administrative program management support expertise and assistance in carrying out responsibilities to plan, direct and oversee design, construction, environmental remediation, cleanup and operation of government facilities to support ORP at Hanford in the Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area.
ORP Readiness Support Specialist Candidates shall work to support requirements for ORP Site Technical Support Services and provide ORP Readiness Support Site Readiness Technical Support Services OBO The United Stated Department Of Energy, Office of River States Protection (ORP) at Hanford in support ORP's Waste Treatment Operations Division.
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of River Protection Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (DOE-WTP) Commissioning, Operations, and Maintenance Division (COD) requires Readiness support from one qualified full-time General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) covering the following nuclear safety activities:
Under the direction of the COD Division Director, the GSSC resource will have responsibility for this work scope. COD is responsible for functional areas for the DOE-WTP including the following: startup testing, commissioning, readiness, operations, and maintenance. This oversight is conducted to assure the WTP can be safely operated while treating Hanford tank waste.
ORP is responsible for Line Management oversight of the WTP contractor and is also responsible for declaring readiness to safety conduct radioactive operations prior to an Operational Readiness Review (ORR) which is currently scheduled in 2021. Work shall be conducted at the US Department of Energy, Office of River Protection in Richland, WA.
