Regulatory Document Support Engineer - Administrative/Business

ProSidian Seeks a Regulatory Document Support Engineer - Administrative/Business (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.  

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 30461) to fulfil T&M - Time and Materials (T&M) requirements. 

The Regulatory Document Support Engineer BU 104 as a  Professional Grade position.

Regulatory Document Support Engineer - Administrative/Business Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services,  NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and

Position responsibilities participation on multi-disciplinary technical teams that support fate and transport analyses input and assumptions development and final documentation development, research and development of background information to support regulatory documentation, drafting of technical documents, and general technical support for low level waste disposal and closure activities and projects.

General responsibilities include:

1)            Preparation of technical reference documents that support waste disposal or closure activities;

2)            Drafting and/or revision of sections of tank closure or salt waste disposal documents including DOE O 435.1 Performance Assessments and closure documents and state closure documents;

3)            Development of sound technical responses to comments and requests for additional information generated by DOE, NRC, or regulatory agencies;

4)            Assembling and maintaining appropriate documentation for project files and the administrative record file; and

5)            Preparation of presentation material to support meetings with NRC, EPA and SCDHEC.
