2D Electrical Designer - Engineering

ProSidian Seeks a 2D Electrical Designer - Engineering (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.  

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 30061) to fulfil T&M - Time and Materials (T&M) requirements. 

The2D Electrical Designer DS 100 as a  Professional Grade position.

2D Electrical Designer - Engineering Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services,  NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and

Provide 2D Designer support services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams. Designer support services include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents in the following areas:

Electrical

Equipment layout

Grounding

Cable tray

Conduit

Lighting systems

Schematics and wiring diagrams

Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for electrical design such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA

Plant Design

Mechanical systems including piping, material handling, equipment and HVAC components

Equipment layout, piping layout and HVAC layout based on upper tier documents

Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for plant design such as ASME B31.3, NFPA 101, ASME N509/510 and B16
