ProSidian Team Members work to provide Gov't. - Federal (USA) Sector related Human Capital Solutions for Aerospace Medical Research and Technical Support Services on behalf of The Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI).
Statistician or Mathematician - Aerospace Medical Research (AMR22) Candidates shall work to support requirements for (Aerospace Medical Research Services) and shall work as part of a team in support of Aerospace Medical Research efforts. The candidate will complete tasks and activities contributing to deliverables and core mission functions in the Aerospace Medical Research space.
Must serve as a Statistician/Mathematician in support of the research and operational activities of the Numerical Sciences team. Tasks include:
- Perform analysis of datasets required to meet research and operational needs of the Numerical Sciences team using model selection and analytical approaches defensible in peer-reviewed literature. This includes:
- Identifying appropriate computational and statistical analyses required to complete bioinformatics objectives for processing data, including review of software documentation of any software used and responsibility for ensuring appropriate use of software and parameters to meet requirements of the data, including not violating assumptions of statistical analyses.
- Writing of scripts and code as necessary to enable analyses, including sufficient annotation within (e.g., via use of # or comment lines) to allow future use by other team members. The Contractor must provide all scripts, codes, and results to the Numerical Sciences team.
- Document analytical methods used, including descriptions of names and versions of software along with features used.
- Write up methods used in paragraph format at a quality and detail level appropriate for inclusion in peer-reviewed publications.
- Aid other members of the AAM-600 with this task upon request.
- The Contractor must be keep their data, files, and code backed up.
