ProSidian Seeks a Conduct of Operations (ConOps) Specialist - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) - GSSC (Part-Time) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford. Conduct of Operations (ConOps) Specialist - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) - GSSC Candidates shall work to support requirements for RFQ FY22-SB13 WTP Support R1 Amendment 1 Swim Lanes and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal). ProSidian Team Members (# FTe’s: 0.5) work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) support services as part of general support services for The US Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) and Office of River Protection (ORP) and the DOE Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP).
1. Provide oversight of conduct of operations.
2. Provide oversight of contractor system design review program.
3. Provide oversight of commissioning plan development, and review commissioning test indices and commissioning test instructions.
4. Provide oversight of maintenance and work control processes.
5. Provide support to WTP confinement ventilation and off-gas systems.
6. Assist the Nuclear Services Division (NSD) during DOE’s review and comment resolution of the Preliminary Documented Safety Analysis (PDSA) and Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) development and revisions performed by the contractor.
7. Coordinate system design reviews for the WTP HLW systems.
8. Assist Federal Project Directors in the assessment of alternative tank waste treatment approaches (including DFHLW configuration).
9. Assist the Hanford Interface Management Team with Interface Control Document (ICD).
10. Coordinate to issue assessment and resolution with ORP engineering, regulatory, and other supporting staff.
11. Directly interface with DOE senior management and local and federal agency executives.
12. Participate in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), WTP High Level Waste (HLW) assessment progress and Direct Feed High Level Waste (DFHLW) configurations.
