ProSidian Seeks a Nuclear Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist - GSSC (Full-Time [W-2]) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford. Preferred candidates present with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal). Candidates shall work to support requirements for relevant Swim Lanes and:
- Manage resolution of BNI issues through joint ORP/BNI integration using the tools established by the nuclear safety and QA war rooms, including but not limited to:
- Accelerated response teams,
- Rapid prototyping,
- Escalation.
- Provide strategic solutions to emerging project challenges such as defense in depth, safety SSC procurement, implementation of the Chemical Safety Management Program, and alignment of QA requirements with nuclear safety, ongoing maturation of interface between Nuclear Safety, QA, Engineering and Operations.
- Completion of deliverables may require working directly with ORP contractors as part of an integrated team to assist ORP contractors in producing documents and deliverables.
- Provide strategic solutions to manage integration between nuclear safety, engineering, and QA between both ORP and BNI.
- Provide strategic solutions in response to barrier workshop initiatives that ensure QA and Nuclear Safety requirements are met while improving BNI and ORP work processes and interfaces.
- Consults, and assists on organizational strategy, planning, management, implementation, or problem solving related to major projects, programs, technical issues, or organizational directions.
- Perform similar activities to those listed above for other Hanford facilities (e.g., Tank Farms, 242-A Evaporator, 222-S Laboratory), as needed, to support resolution of strategic issues as authorized by the technical monitor.

CONTRACTOR DELIVERABLES
Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The Contractor shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestone/delivery schedules as outlined below:
- Weekly Status Report. This report will address work accomplished, with deliverable progress provided to the technical monitor.
- Monthly Status Report. This report will be a combination of the weekly status reports and shall be submitted with the monthly invoice. The report shall also include:
- Deliverable progress, and date(s) submitted, submitted within the invoice period.
- Work schedule for Contractor employees, to include any leave taken.
TRAVEL
Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
LOCATION
This position is approximately 77% remote and will require a two-week site visit every other month for a total of six two-week trips during the length of each period of performance (base period of one year, plus two one-year option periods, for a total of three years). While on travel to site, work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy government offices, the Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.
