Provide services and support as a Industrial Hygienist Services (Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH)) in the Chemicals Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) | Generally Located In Southwest Border Region (Texas (south part), New Mexico, Arizona, southern California) and across the Southwest Border Region Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) [Southwest Border Region] | Environmental Health Assessment [CSB015020]
Conduct chemical hazard assessments at incident sites, working with the U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB) investigation team to evaluate potential released chemicals and determine appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and monitoring requirements.
Develop and implement safe site entry plans in coordination with the CSB investigation team to ensure safe access to incident locations.
Perform initial site assessments, monitor atmospheric conditions, and advise the U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB) team on hazards, PPE, and safe site access.
Provide continuous monitoring of atmospheric conditions, including hazardous chemicals, oxygen levels, and flammability, during site entry activities.
Prepare detailed closing reports summarizing monitoring activities, safety recommendations, and assessments made during site deployments.
