Seeking Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO)) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) | Environmental Management [USACE005010]
Implement and enforce on-site safety protocols; conduct safety training; monitor compliance with safety regulations. The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is required at cleanup operations and shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience implementing safety and occupational health procedures at cleanup operations. The SSHO shall be on site anytime cleanup operations are being performed and shall be responsible for inspecting site activities to identify safety and occupational health deficiencies and to correct them, to coordinate changes to The Accident Prevention Plan (APP)/Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) with The Safety and Health Manager (SHM) , Site Superintendent, and Contracting Officer (KO), to conduct safety training, and to ensure site monitoring for site health and safety (equipment, processes, and procedures) is conducted and enforced.
Safety and Health Professionals: In accordance with the US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1, current version, which can be found on line at http://publications.The Client.army.mil/publications/eng-manuals/), Team ProSidian shall provide Safety and Health Professionals for hazardous waste operations
