Joining us as a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work from Athens,Greece on international projects for Netcompany, contributing to the most complex IT solutions of Denmark and the Netherlands.
You will oversee sub-projects, conduct daily stand-ups, and report status to customers or project managers. Leadership within your team will be essential, as you will delegate tasks and assist team members. A project manager will support you, enhancing your management and IT delivery skills.
You'll join a high-performing international team, valuing professionalism and collaboration. Our projects include significant IT initiatives for Denmark's state, municipalities and business community.
As a Cloud Operations Engineer you will:
- Manage one or more business-critical systems, ensure continuous and correct monitoring and ensure backups. This also includes scripting and tuning the platform.
- Collaborate with other team members on security, problem solving, and process optimization as well as participate in safety testing and incident, problem and change management.
- Contribute to operation projects such as large-scale technology transitions, including planning, and implementing specific operational tasks.
- Use a wide variety of cloud tooling to manage and monitor infrastructure.
- Maintain cloud-based environments for various projects based on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.
- Work with Kubernetes platforms, Managed containers, and other new technologies
- Report tasks, activities, and SLA goals
- Build new environments in a DevOps team.
- Respond to customer requests, change management, incidents etc. based on ITIL practices.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and GITOPS with Argo CD
- Participate in project work, as a part of the development cycle, providing high level of availability of applications and systems based on project and SLA requirements.
