What does it feel like to be a Local System Administrator in Netcompany?
By joining us as a Local System Administrator, you will ensure the reliable deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Linux and Windows systems, supporting the DG鈥檚 local IT infrastructure and working closely with the IT team to maintain secure and efficient operations.
As a Local System Administrator you will:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers and workstations within the local environment
- Manage system updates, patching, and security upgrades
- Implement and maintain security measures in line with defined security baselines
- Perform system backups and recovery to ensure data integrity and availability
- Monitor system performance and maintain network services (file servers, DHCP, DNS, proxies, etc.)
- Troubleshoot incidents and respond promptly to system-related issues
- Document system configurations and operational procedures
- Automate administrative tasks through scripting and support integration of local systems
