The Application Engineer role is to implement and maintain vendor provided ticketing software applications across all Parks. This includes installation and implementation as well as troubleshooting while providing day-to-day support to existing software applications. The Application Engineer will set up and maintain system administration and configuration of software systems.
- Provide day-to-day application support on software systems at all Parks Technology locations. This includes after hours, weekends and on-call support.
- Troubleshoot, analyze logs, replicate errors, determine root cause, and communicate findings. Liaise with other technical teams to assist in resolving problems with software products and/or configuration of hardware components.
- Build and maintain software system configuration of supported applications while adhering to defined standards.
- Attend meetings with business partners and vendors to communicate strategies, deployments, and troubleshooting issues.
- Design, run and monitor test cases on new and existing applications for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging.
- Create and maintain application documentation for all software applications including evolving processes. Provide knowledge transfer and onboarding for members of the team.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
