The Entity IT PMO will oversee the governance, planning, and execution tracking of SAP S4 transition activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations. This role bridges the gap between technical migration teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP S4 HANA.
Responsibilities:
Governance & Delivery
- Define and own the end-to-end delivery model and governance structure.
- Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and escalation protocols.
- Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology.
- Oversee the entire SAP project lifecycle.
- Manage scope changes through formal change control procedures.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Escalate and resolve critical issues with senior stakeholders.
Project & Resource Management
- Lead cross-functional project teams (Project Managers, SMEs, Functional & Technical Consultants, Change Management, Data Team, Analytics/MIS).
- Manage budgets and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct steering committee meetings, executive briefings, and status reporting.
Data Migration Oversight
- Develop and maintain the data migration roadmap.
- Track data quality, reconciliation, and defect resolution.
- Ensure alignment with migration methodologies (LSMW, SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit).
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and decision-making forums.
- Demonstrate strong people management, negotiation, and influence skills.
- Operate effectively within matrixed, global environments.
