We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong ecommerce and retail domain expertise to lead the vision, strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of key retail products and workflows. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and deliver high-impact solutions. Your focus will be on enhancing operational efficiency, pricing, promotions, supplier collaboration, merchandising workflows, and overall customer value.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for retail-facing systems (e.g., Pricing, Promotions, Supplier Portal, Deals/Funding, Merchandising workflows).
- Ensure alignment between product initiatives, business priorities, and technical feasibility.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to keep products innovative and aligned with industry trends.
- Requirements & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Commercial, Buying, Finance, and Operations teams to translate business needs into detailed product requirements.
- Develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and manage expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
- Delivery & Execution
- Lead end-to-end product delivery鈥攆rom discovery and requirement gathering to release and post-launch optimization.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, UX, and data teams to ensure scalable and high-quality solutions.
- Systems & Integration
- Manage integrations across upstream and downstream systems such as RMS, ERP, pricing and promotion portals, supplier tools, and financial systems.
- Ensure product designs account for APIs, workflows, system dependencies, and data models.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze product performance using data insights and KPIs.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive enhancements based on stakeholder feedback and operational metrics.
- Support onsite discovery or rollout activities as needed.
