Assistant Electrician (M/F)

The Assistant Electrician functions and responsibility shall include, but not be limited to:

▪To assist the Chief Electrician in the planning and execution of maintenance and of the operational work within the electrical section.

▪Familiarize himself / herself and comply with the all regulations and work procedures.

▪To ensure that critical or special work is not undertaken without a Work Permit signed by the Chief Electrician.

▪To execute assigned tasks in conformance with safe working procedures, as instructed.

▪To keep all tools, equipment, workshop and stores in good order, keeping records and inventories of stores, and advising the Chief Electrician of necessary requirements.

▪To advise the Chief Electrician of potential hazard, deficiencies and non-conformances observed and of completed jobs and outstanding details if any.

▪To always use the correct PPE equipment provided.
