Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Strategic Process Improvements & MDM Rollout Projects:
- Effectively support and manage business client teams and various stakeholders to identify, prioritize, plan, and implement strategic process improvements for the organization's Master Data Management (MDM) Roadmap.
- Hands-on experience in managing MDM rollout projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while also acting as a business consultant to provide practical advice and guidance.
- Skilled in developing and executing MDM operational strategies with insightful knowledge of process enhancement methodologies.
- Understand service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for master data-related business processes.
- Experience in directing large engagements with notable success in leading the design, development, and delivery of complex projects/programs related to Master Data Management.
Service Delivery & Compliance:
- Ensure understanding and compliant service delivery across METRO GROUP of agreed policies and procedures by team members.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of master data processes, such as the creation and modification of customer, article, supplier personal information, and bank details updated by team members.
- Monitor overall process performance with respect to the agreed SLAs and ensure quality metrics are maintained for the processes, considering their impact on the financial health of processes.
- Support team members to achieve performance and quality standards as defined in relevant SLAs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required, with a solid understanding of SAP and MDM applications to fulfill master data technical requirements.
Team Management & Development:
- Build high-performance teams and implement continuous improvement programs, including automation.
- Assist the recruitment team in hiring resources externally and internally as per the job description.
- Train team members with the required knowledge and expertise.
- Conduct performance reviews with the team on a quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis, and share feedback with the team leader regularly.
- Manage leave for self and team leaders.
- Conduct skip meetings, focus group sessions, and monthly review meetings (MRMs) to discuss process health and team expectations as part of engagement and retention controls.
Customer Engagement & Reporting:
- Ensure continuous customer engagement for any impact assessment and migrations of processes to Global Business Services (GBS).
- Understand and learn any new reports, especially for Business Intelligence (BI) and MAG Finance, to monitor controls.
- Review monthly governance presentations before publishing.
Audit & Compliance:
- Ensure zero compliance issues for any external audits, including Internal Control Framework (ICF).
- Drive efficiency-driven transformation projects with the country and Metro Digital.
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate with other teams, such as IT Ops and Infrastructure, to ensure smooth operations.
