Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Participation in the SAP 4/Hana Digital Finance implementation project (LUCA) targeted to unify METRO SAP FI systems globally
- Responsible for all R2R functional project tasks for General Ledger, especially around Fixed Assets
- Responsibility for design of accounting and reporting of Fixed Assets in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements
- Ensuring correctness of postings in the Fixed Asset subledger and alignment with the General Ledger
- Ensuring cross-project cooperation to support E2E CAPEX flow
- Responsible for system testing and coordination of proper defect resolution by implementation partner
- Participation in system and process improvement initiatives, including testing and implementation of SAP solutions related to Fixed Assets
- Supporting audit processes (internal and external) and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards
