About the Role:
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company, adhering to strict time management practices.
- Utilise specialised cleaning equipment and products, provided by us, with full training to ensure effective and safe use.
- Build strong, professional relationships with fellow staff members, guests, and contractor personnel to support a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies and linens, reporting any shortages or issues to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities or services, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste materials.
- Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns observed in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping storage areas and service corridors.
- Participate in periodic deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient room turnover.
