Oaks Wellington Hotel are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis.
This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
- Support and coach less experienced kitchen team members when required.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Split shifts may be required on some days
- Immediate start available
