Overview
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will minimize downtime by performing all necessary preventative and corrective maintenance while following all safety and environmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery, electric controls, panel construction, wiring, fabricate, weld, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, solder, grind, saw, use hand tools and other shop equipment.
- Safely modify and install energy control devices.
- Monitor equipment and operations to meet quality and safety standards.
- Comply with lock out, tag out (LOTO), confined space, respirator, and other applicable training and procedures.
- Follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer鈥檚 instructions, and engineering specs.
- Locate problem sources by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, talking to operators or supervisors, using manufacturer鈥檚 manuals, and using precision measuring and testing equipment.
- Maintain maintenance supplies by anticipating needed equipment and communicating needed supplies and irregularities.
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
- Provide direction, guidance, information, and resolve customer or product design concerns.
- Perform administrative duties (complete paperwork accurately and timely and legible).
