Hiring Team Description:
This staff engineer will be part of the "Authentication Experiences" team. The team works on making sure good users can get in and keeping bad actors out through development of "challenges" or experiences that determine whether a user is the legitimate owner of an account.

Responsibilities
- You will define, measure, and iterate on key product metrics related to adversarial actions.
- You will work with product and stakeholder teams to create and influence the roadmap.
- You will develop multi-tier product experiences that are scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric and operating 24x7.
- You will scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with speediness and quality.
- You will produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
- You will provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross functional, and company-wide critical programs. Identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
