The Senior Manager, R&D Talent Acquisition Operations will lead operational strategy, reporting infrastructure, systems optimization, and recruiting coordination for the NAMER R&D Talent Acquisition organization. The team supports hiring across Engineering and Product functions, spanning Early Career, Industry, and Executive recruiting.
This role is responsible for building and scaling the operational foundation that enables hiring velocity, data and systems integrity, recruiter productivity, and a strong candidate experience across R&D.

This role partners cross-functionally with Finance, People Analytics, HR, and senior Engineering and Product stakeholders to ensure R&D Talent Acquisition operates with scale, rigor, clarity, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational & Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the R&D TA Operations team, including Early Career Program Management and Recruiting Coordination.
- Establish clear service models, operating rhythms, and performance standards that support recruiter effectiveness and candidate experience.
- Ensure operational alignment across Early Career, Industry, and Executive recruiting segments.
Strategic Partnership & Execution
- Partner with the Sr. Director of R&D Talent Acquisition and TA Managers to execute strategic priorities across Engineering and Product hiring.
- Drive OKR planning and progress tracking across the R&D TA organization; review Employee Voice Survey results and support development of action plans.
- Own agendas and develop data-driven content for R&D TA leadership meetings, offsites, All Hands, and executive updates.
- Co-author communications to senior Engineering, Product, and HR stakeholders.
Workforce Planning, Budget & Capacity
- Partner with Finance, People Analytics, and HR in requisition approvals, position management, headcount tracking, hiring analytics, and forecasting.
- Manage headcount tracking, budget visibility, and capacity modeling for the NAMER R&D TA organization.
- Monitor demand, productivity, and requisitions per resource to inform staffing decisions.
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Own the reporting framework for NAMER R&D TA, ensuring clear visibility into funnel health, delivery performance, demand trends, and productivity metrics.
- Optimize dashboards and reporting to support leadership decision-making and business reviews.
- Drive consistency and accountability through regular reporting rhythms.
Process & Systems Optimization
- Design, document, and scale recruiting workflows across Engineering and Product hiring.
- Serve as primary operational partner for recruiting systems impacting R&D (ATS, scheduling tools, workflow processes).
- Partner with HR Tech and TA Operations teams on system enhancements, testing, and rollouts.
- Maintain and improve documentation across workflows, service models, and operating procedures.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements and scalable best practices.
Organizational Change & Representation
- Lead the TA Operations workstream for organizational changes or hiring transformations impacting R&D recruiting.
- Represent NAMER R&D TA in broader TA Operations forums to ensure alignment, feedback loops, and effective change management.
