Lely is entering the Mexican market, with pour base in Quer茅taro and we are looking for a hands-on Sales Representative who will actively drive the adoption of our robotic milking solutions. This is a operational sales role, focused on direct customer interaction and commercial results.
As Sales Representative, you will be the face of Lely in Mexico. You will spend most of your time visiting dairy farms, explaining our Robotic Milking solutions, advising farmers, and converting opportunities into sales. You operate independently in the field, while working closely with colleagues at our headquarters in the Netherlands and the wider Lely network. Together, you ensure that farmers experience the full value of our innovative solutions, from first contact to successful installation and start-up.
Within this role, you have a unique opportunity to grow together with the Mexican market. You will start by doing the groundwork, actively building awareness, opening doors, and converting opportunities into sales. As adoption increases and the business matures, your impact becomes visible and tangible. Based on your performance and the growth of the market, you can develop further towards a Sales Lead role, taking on more strategic responsibility and supporting the expansion of the local sales organization.
Role Responsibilities and Collaboration
In this role, you will be part of a small, dedicated team working closely with technical support specialists, farm support specialists, and the local Manager Finance and Compliance. This collaborative environment ensures that you and your colleagues can effectively support customers, particularly during the critical start-up phase of their engagement.
Your technical colleagues will be responsible for maintaining service excellence, allowing you to focus on supporting customers and their needs. You will report directly to the Cluster Manager New Markets, who is based at the head office in the Netherlands. This reporting structure provides you with clear guidance and connection to the broader organization while enabling you to contribute meaningfully at the local level.
