As a Farm Management and Commercial Advisor, you will support dairy farmers across the South Island in achieving optimal results with Lely solutions. This role combines commercial responsibility with practical farm management guidance, focusing on long鈥憈erm customer relationships and continuous optimisation throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers, assess farm requirements, and present Lely solutions across milking, feeding, and manure handling.
- Manage commercial opportunities from lead generation to signed agreements, including CRM updates, quoting, and pipeline oversight.
- Prepare layout drawings to support shed design and system鈥憆outing discussions during the sales process.
- Provide advice and training on farm management software, robotic routines, and performance optimisation.
- Act as the primary contact for non鈥憈echnical matters post鈥慼andover, strengthening relationships within the existing customer base
- Collaborate closely with Service and Marketing teams and represent Lely at regional field days, open days, and local events.
- Report directly to the Lely Center Manager while working primarily in the field, with Lely Center Waikato as the home base.
