We are seeking a Consulting Epidemiologist to join our Health Sciences practice. This role is designed for a recent graduate (PhD, ScD, or DrPH in Epidemiology) from a rigorous, research-intensive university who has already gained foundational exposure to consulting environments - whether through full‑time roles, internships, assistantships, or analyst-level experience in technical consulting.
This individual will continue developing technical and applied consulting skills under the mentorship of principal epidemiologists, including experts with long-standing academic and regulatory/litigation experience.
What You’ll Do
- Support epidemiological analyses across environmental, occupational, regulatory, and health sciences projects.
- Conduct literature reviews, assist with protocol development, data management, and statistical analyses (R, SAS, Stata, SPSS, or Python).
- Draft supporting sections of reports, research summaries, and client deliverables.
- Contribute to exposure assessments, causation analysis research, and structured analysis frameworks used in litigation and regulatory matters (in a supporting, non‑testifying capacity).
- Participate in project meetings, help manage small tasks/workstreams, and contribute to quality assurance and project documentation.
- Apply and deepen understanding of core consulting skills (client communication support, budgeting exposure, workflow management).
- Build cross-functional familiarity with toxicology, exposure science, industrial hygiene, and risk assessment by collaborating on multidisciplinary engagements.
