About the role:
As part of the IFS Ultimo team, the Business Operations & Strategy Manager will partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer and senior sales leaders to drive strategic decision-making and business operations execution across a high-growth SaaS business.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and commercial execution, supporting initiatives such as forecasting, go-to-market (GTM) planning, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), pricing & packaging, and sales policy. You will translate data into insights, insights into decisions, and decisions into scalable processes that support sustained growth.
This is a hybrid role, with requirement to come into the office 1-2 days per week as required, hence the preference for those based in the Netherlands & UK. It offers close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across the Leadership Team, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and support sales forecasting, including pipeline assessment and scenario planning (worst case, best case) to support leadership decision-making.
Collaborate on GTM strategy and execution, partnering with Sales, Marketing and other leaders on market assessment, segmentation, strategy for sub-markets.
Drive preparation and analysis for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), delivering clear insights on performance, risks, and opportunities.
Liaise for account & deal reviews, supporting senior leaders and challenging the thinking to drive execution.
Support pricing & packaging strategy, including analysis of value metrics, competitive benchmarks, and monetisation opportunities (including AI-driven offerings).
Define, document, and maintain sales & sales incentive policies and commercial governance, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability as the business grows.
Support in sales incentives planning, based on quantitative & strategic analysis.
Analyse commercial and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities across the customer lifecycle.
