As a Solution Architect for Manufacturing, you will be expected to work alongside the Sales teams and the Business Architects to understand prospect and customer business and functional objectives, along with the āAs-isā and āTo-beā state of the organization in order to provide a functional product solution and demonstrate it back where needed.
Customer facing IFS presentations should ensure the knowledge and delivery of the value and technical solution customers expect. Expectations for Solution architects are as follows:
- Participate in internal and customer/prospect facing product presentations and demonstrations.
- Provide answers to technical questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP).
- Assist with technical qualification of sales opportunities.
- Expert knowledge of specific IFS products, industries and services for your areaās expertise.
- Build custom end-to-end demonstrations aligned with customersā/prospect key business initiatives.
- Ensure the successful delivery of Proof of Value tied to the customersā success criteria and business initiatives.
- Translate technical and business needs into a customer focused value-centric solution.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of all products and services including roadmaps and regular liaison with Product Management.
- Use the knowledge of the major customersā needs to provide and/or propose commercially viable product/solution improvement feedback of large and complex customer requirements ā involving senior management where needed
- Work with enterprise level prospects and clients and be prepared to question them to cover a complete architecture, including integration of IFS into a wider environment
- Comprehend and demonstrate the key metrics, KPIās and business drivers for the IFS Industries.
- Working with the sales organization to address technical needs for the customers
- Ensure discipline of excellence and passion to every customer engagement
- Assist at external and internal customer facing events
- Always be considering ways to develop or improve key strategic initiatives to enhance our go to market.
